So to my fellow christian’s out there. I was able to overcome lust by listening to music but if it’s secular music doesn’t it just count as another sin?

Kinda a grey area tbh. The Bible talks about guarding your heart but if it doesn’t have a negative impact on your mind, the way you speak, or act then really it’s not a big deal in my opinion. It becomes more of a heart issue than anything else so if it doesn’t affect that I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I would still stay away from sexually explicit music as much as possible however.
