Lots of relapsing behind me

So I‘m only in my early twenties and been addicted since 2016-17 probably. Now I‘m done with being a slave to my addiction and being a dog that returns to it‘s vomit. “Like a dog that returns to his vomit is a fool who repeats his folly.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭26‬:‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬ And it does feel like this to relapse. It might be a great feeling to get yourself off but the feeling after is so much worse. And always keep the focus on Jesus who took his cross, but even more OUR cross on himself. And so we have to take our own cross upon ourselves too. This also includes giving up on such a harmful habit and addiction. Let us let go of our old spirit as sinners and let God give us his clean spirit. Nobody is perfect and we‘re still in a sinful world. It‘s not about being perfect- because we cannot be perfect. Jesus alone was the perfect human and there‘s a reason why HE had to die for our sins. But let‘s get better every day and grow closer to God. We‘re in this together so let‘s stand and pray together. Be very blessed and just know that Jesus loves you and how you want to change your life - and I love you too and believe in you. With Jesus nothing is impossible!
