Craving mitigation
I found that the best strategy to overcome cravings is to simply accept them. You cannot panic or try to block them out of your mind, you must find peace. When you do this enough your brain learns that you don’t act on your cravings anymore and the process becomes natural. Do not entertain what comes in your head. Don’t even say “I cant break because I’ll feel horrible” or give some justification. Just hover above the craving or image and it will leave with time. There are times for push ups or rubbing ice cubes on your stomach but for the most part I have found this to be very effective. You know you are quitting so stop questioning the illusions you knew would come.
Oh man I needed this today. Was just talking about how my brain makes me think of things to cause cravings...I'll keep this in my arsenal for sure. Thank you sir!
