I think there’s too many hardline drawn here. This app is to quit porn not everything all at once. Give yourself a break. And be kind to yourself. Quit porn is the first step, and don’t think you replaced because you wanked it. However, it’ll be beneficial to cut back on that to help speed the process… and when you have this crazy urge to watch and go into those habits. Have a wank and move on. Then see how long you can go. Both cold turkey is a recipe for relapse and feeling like you can’t do it. It’s ok. It’s allll ok. Even if you relapse, learn from it. Dust yourself off and try again. Success comes after failing over and over and over.

Exactly! It’s all about what works for you. If you get the urge, you wack it, and it goes away. I see no problem in that. But if it strengthens the urge to watch porn then obviously stop. For me I’ve only masturbated once since starting(I’m on my 7th day) and that was because I really had the urge to watch porn. But I yanked the chain on day 4 and honestly haven’t felt the urge since then. If the goal is to no fap then take it one step. But 100% agree people sometimes go too extreme and when they fail end up feeling worse because of the high expectations they set. Just chill. I know yall want change but it takes time. We got this and acknowledge that trying to change in it of itself is a big step. Never lose sight of that, especially when you relapse.
