I spent decades in porn, and much of that time, my past abuse-rape and assault-and all I heard in church that I had to avoid having sex with my girlfriends led me to use my empathetic ability to focus more on the guy side in porn…I could imagine the guy I was seeing’s arousal was mine and when he came, it excited me. Over the years, I got to looking primarily at just the guys, and sometimes even gay sex. It got to where I had real trouble getting aroused for my wife, and in the last few years, as my wife and I have grown distant from each other emotionally and sexually, I forgot how to get worked up for her for sex without Viagra’s help. While we have other issues that keep us apart that we are working on, I am healing tremendously as I get further away from porn—51 days now! I was allowing fap, with my wife’s okay, since we aren’t getting together sexually, but this past week, I’ve started no fap as well (6 days), and it’s helping me even more.
C, you have to trust that healing will come as you leave porn behind! Get all thoughts of drastic measures out of your head and words. I’ve lived with suicidal thoughts and desires I’ve not been able to control for years, and you do not want to go there!
Well then yeah bro stay away from porn and fight as hard as you can to stay away from having those intrusive thoughts

Honestly c, I’d try to first see yourself the way God sees you (Romans 8:31-39 has been a super helpful passage for me), and then remember God sees everyone that way so we should try to see people that way too
