I’m on my longest ever streak of 35 days but the last couple have been really challenging, I really feel the need to watch porn and release I suppose I’m just struggling with the thought that I’m never supposed to go back, if I reach my goal that I’m trying to hit of 90 days and I still feel the way I do now what will be the point
That’s the addiction pulling you back, your brain is rewiring and wants the easy way out, we have trained our brains for years to reach for this release. Just take it easy on yourself, detach from those thoughts, your not going to die if you don’t act out, the urges become less as you move forward, they way you are feeling is why it’s so hard. But if you go back you will only end up where you started, and that’s a fact. Keep going into the unknown brother, sit with the feelings, they will pass! Just try and do the next right thing.
i have similar thoughts. i once went for 2 years without it and have since fallen back. 90 days seems too pre-mature

Keep in mind that you’re not giving up anything. I’m not missing out on anything by never trying heroine. This is the same. There is no release in this practice.
