This is more of a discussion question… when I was getting counseling for the addiction my counselor said that I needed to separate the porn from the masterbation and treat them as separate issues. If I masterbate without the porn to release some of the tension does that count as a relapse or no?
We need to find healthy coping mechanisms and masterbating is a sin an against your own flesh. It’s an addiction. If we need to do something and can’t control not doing it it’s an addiction and it’s best to break free from all addictions so it can never control you and your motives
I would consider it a relapse
