We are all Barabbas. We owe it all to Jesus.
Matthew 27:11-26 tells the story of the man called Barabbas who was a prisoner chosen to be spared from the death penalty by a crowd of bystanders waiting for Jesus’s crucifixion according to Roman tradition. Jesus, the loving embodiment of God, perfect, King of the universe, took the place of a convicted prisoner, Barabbas, who lived a life of sin by every account. He died for us so we can live in perfect harmony with Him. If He who is perfect has grace for the worst among us, He also has grace for the things YOU have done. Yes even YOU. Jesus loves you. Goodnight.
