This Feels Impossible but I’ll Pushing Forward

I just relapsed after having fought to stay sober. I feel so low. This addiction is stripping me of my freedom and chaining me down. It’s harming my mental and physical health and my spirituality. I feel so far from God. I feel like a hypocrite. I make it a little further each time but whenever I’ve relapsed it’s just gotten worse from where I last ended. Though I feel all this self hate, shame, and embarrassment I’m gonna keep pushing forward in my fight to quit. This addiction has plagued me for over half my life, I’m done with it.
Romans 8:38-39 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
