This is my response to whoever wrote the comment below me: Being in a church doesn’t make you a Christian either, and in fact scripture predicted satan would use certain leaders in the church to abuse women and children. I don’t know why atheists or anyone else refuse to make that distinction and act like it doesn’t exist for some odd reason. Why do I as a Christian need to expand my empathy when the fact of the matter remains? The majority of Christian’s are against pedophilia slavery etc, while the majority of the rest of the world is all for it and commits atrocities daily. We can’t know what empathy is if we don’t know what God says love is in his word. The world doesn’t know the difference between love and lust. That is why the majority of the world defends atrocities such as pedophilia as “loving” even though common sense says a child can’t possibly consent to sex. The evidence is clear, without Jesus the world has no basis for defining what empathy or what it is. This is not me saying that you can’t adopt Christian values as a non Christian about empathy, but it has no real ground to stand upon when those values are threatened by oppressors like oppressive governments and leaders etc.
Michael being a non-Christian doesn’t automatically make you a satanist. Please expand your empathy and worldview. There are plenty of Christian’s who do heinous acts, such as the numerous Christian priests who have molested children. Belonging to a religion doesn’t change the fact that you can choose to follow the evil or good inside you. You have to worship god, this is true. There are many paths when it comes to following God. Christianity is a path to the truth but not the only road there. Whether you’re Sikh, Christian, Muslim or Jewish we’re all praying to the same power at the end of the day. Please expand your knowledge before making ignorant claims.

Why do you think most societies outside of Christian majority ones legalize pedophilia and slavery etc, even modern atheist majority ones like Japan the age of consent is only 13 years old.
