Stopping addiction requires actual commitment

You don’t stop being addicted to porn by telling yourself to stop fapping. When we were kids, we were too innocent to know about porn and fapping, and therefore we lived happier. The addiction doesn’t just come out of nowhere. Triggers for these addictions also don’t just come out of nowhere. Deep down, you know that there is something that you are purposely exposing yourself to in order to cope with your addiction, which actually instead triggers it. This can be social media, Reddit, even your favorite Tv Shows. Stop feeding into your triggers. You won’t die without TikTok. After a few weeks without these triggers, your mind will slowly fix itself so you stop over sexualizing these triggers and you will slowly become resistant to them. Abstinence takes commitment.
