This is how you resist temptation: James 4:7-10 “7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” RESIS THE DEVIL AND HE WIL FLEE FROM YOU. If you resist him, he must leave. BUT it all starts with submitting to the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only one that can deliver us from satan and sin. He holds the power of salvation in His hands.

When we get into scripture, we live the way the spirit leads us to live, and then through Jesus who is the way to the father, we can then get closer to God. Pretend there is a balance on top of your head, one side is the fruit of the spirit and the other is the fruit of the flesh as mentioned in Galatians 5. When we get into scripture more, we pray more, we do less of the social media, less of watching random videos on YouTube, the side of the balance where the fruits of the spirits are get heavier and there has more you start to gain more self control, patience, etc. So key to success as a believer of God is to get into scripture and you can watch videos and stuff but make it be edifying to your life like a study or just Bible reading and you read along
