Tough Couple Days

Hey y’all. Don’t really have anything encouraging to offer today. Work has been stressful, and it’s been making it hard for me to focus. I’ve had quite a few urges over the last couple of days. Still staying strong but it’s been tougher these last two days than the 10 before them combined. That’s how it goes sometimes I guess. Anyway, I haven’t been super active on here during that time, so I knew I needed to be intentional about not letting these community fall to the wayside the moment it gets hard. Prayers are appreciated so much. I’ve not really been commenting on y’all’s stuff but I’ve been reading them and praying for a lot of you. Hope you all have a great day today. Stay strong friends. 💪🏼

Hey Michael, good to see you post, even if you don't feel you have a lot of encouragement to offer right now, I want to push back on that and say I disagree. :) Every single post I see here where someone shares they're still fighting, resisting the fleshing, fleeing temptation and turning to the Lord *is* encouragement and it helps tremendously with people feel less isolated in this. There, I'll get off my soap box now. But really, I'm continuing to pray for you, especially as you said the last 2 days have been extra hard- take comfort friend, scripture says: "For I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." -Isaiah 41:10 Christ Jesus Himself will uphold you and give you ALL that you need.✝️
