One thing that helps me
I’ve often found certain habits just operate on autopilot. This was one of them. I’d be searching certain terms or other problematic stuff that I knew would lead me down the same road, but I couldn’t remember how or when I got there. So I started paying attention to when the autopilot took over to see what I could do to interrupt that sequence. If I waited too long, I’d be on the same railroad tracks to a setback or relapse. But if I could catch it early and adjust, I could get off the tracks before I went down the wrong path. Just paying attention to those cues helped me identify the autopilot problem and change course. Still practicing this skill, but getting pretty good at it and have the streak to show for it.
Awesome advice brother! So far I’ve been using this app to interrupt the start of auto-piloting… it’s definitely a feeling right before you start that I know very well
