That’s good that you’re interested in talking to God. Never forget Romans 8 & that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. The devil can’t hurt us if we’re in Christ, or handcuff us, but he will hand us the handcuffs and because of our flesh we give in. But if we live according to the flesh that leads to death my dear brother. So remember that no temptation has come to you that is greater than anything that happens to me, anyone else & even Jesus himself, but God is faithful and he always provides an escape. It’s always through Him. Try to read the psalms or something like that instead of obsessing over impure thoughts
