My way to overcome porn addiction

I’m trying to quit porn for almost 3 years right now, longest that I manage to stay away from it was 7 days. Today is the 10th day. I’m so proud and motivated like never before, I’m constantly reminding myself of how happy because of that 10 day checkpoint. I’m constantly reminding myself how happy I’m because of that, I’m smiling and thinking about the counter going form 10 to 11 to 12 and so on. I have almost no urges, I’m not keeping myself busy. Last night I couldn’t sleep and was laying in my bed for 3 hours with my phone, before I would jack off like 3 times thinking that I would fall asleep sleep faster or some other bullshit, but not this time. I wasn’t thinking about porn at all. I don’t want this shit in my life anymore. I doesn’t give me any pleasure, just feeling of guilt, disgust and disappointment. I’ve tried many ways to quit porn before, but none of those worked for more that 7 days and every day was a struggle. Above thinking patter that I’ve described might sound silly, but it really works for me. You have to start hating porn, every time you get a slightest urge start thinking how much you hate it, how much you have lost because of it. Constantly think about how happy you are that you’ve manage to stay away from it for X days and how excited you are for another day. After you notice any positive impact that’s related to staying away from porn, think of it too. I’ve noticed that I’m becoming a little bit more confident and less compulsive. I also have much more energy, I get out of my bed faster and immediately starting some productive activity. I won’t relapse again, I’m 100% sure, there is no thing in that world that would make me to do it even once. Keep fighting good people. I believe in you!
