i’m 6’1 & 170 pounds. i’m lean but i want to grow my biceps/arms a little more and chest and have more muscle but not buff .. will pushups and dumbbells work? i only have 2 20 pounds dumbbells and not able to go to a gym
What’s up, man. 20 pounds is plenty to start. There’s three main components to build muscle and put on some size. 1. Consistency: The most important—train regularly and stay disciplined. 2. Train to Failure: Slow, controlled movements with time under tension. 3. Protein: Aim for 1g per pound of body weight, so 170g daily for you. Stick to this, and you’ll see progress!
