Battle Buddies: Day 16
I can tell that the temptation is rising within me, I can also tell my testosterone is up because I’ve become a little bit full of myself. I’d used to make eye contact with someone and quickly turn away in embarrassment, it’s almost like a challenge now for how long I can hold it. Walking into a store, these two guys stared at me and beamed right back until they looked away. It’s almost out of character for me and I still don’t know what to make of it. All I know is that I need to humble myself before the Lord and remember that I am lesser and He is much greater than I. There is nothing I can do that would be better without Him right there with me. Constantly I must remind myself to not let my haughtiness get the best of me. Praise to our Father in heaven that I have Him and His people to lean into. Brothers in Christ, Michael & Jan: Let the Lord place your steps. Rejoice in Him always. Don’t stop praying my friends. The moment you start neglecting your relationship is when the enemy starts up on their tricks again. Wear the armor of God, let it protect you. Use the God’s word as your sword cutting down all the lies and deceit as the enemy tries to rope you back into despair. You are strong, but only through Christ alone. Keep putting God at the helm, He will take care of you.
Amen Robet, keep pushing through it and don’t fight the temptation but run from it through the word of our lord. YOU GOT IT MANNN
