I just keep relapsing, I thought I was getting better

Man, I totally get that feeling. I’ve been there too, thinking I was getting better, only to hit another low point. But relapse doesn’t erase the progress you’ve made. God’s not done with you.
Here are a few things that help me when I’m in those tough spots:
1. Get physically active. Even a short walk or a quick workout can help shift the mindset and break the cycle.
2. Put on worship music or a solid podcast. Something that lifts your spirit and redirects your focus.
3. Create some structure. Create a routine that keeps you from idle thoughts. Even if the day feels slow, try blocking out time for reading, reaching out, or learning something new.
4. Stay connected. Texting a brother or posting here, like you just did, it’s a big win. Bringing things into the light is already a big win, and it makes a huge difference in your mindset.
You’re not alone in this. Keep fighting, one step at a time. God’s grace is still bigger than any fall.
