Soft core?

So, I’ve heard that soft core with no nudity does not count. Any opinions on the effect on the brain from soft core?

Speaking personally: Half-measures have availed me NOTHING. I can give no external food to the prurient interest, nor allow it to reach its objectives. My addict can then only play blurry mental clips of re-runs and whatever it can cook up on its own, that way. And that is Fewer angles of attack against me.

I would go at it from the other angle. If you’ve been going hard with porn for a while and struggle going cold turkey, soft core/non-nudity is a step in the right direction. It still isn’t good, but if you relapse, it would be better to relapse to that than hardcore porn. Eventually, get rid of it all.

Depends what your goal is, right? Soft core is still giving yourself into Lust, which is what you’re truly struggling against. At the end of the day you’re still a slave to it with soft core stuff.

Porn is porn when it comes to not relapsing, it would be better if you treat it all the same and try to avoid it all together

I’ve been treating this journey as a more resensitizing experience. This way I can appreciate life more

Honestly, as a 24 year on going addiction, i would strongly advise against any type of porn. Any porn is a rabbit hole, it will get you deeper into the hole
