A Prayer for those who need it

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Keep going 1 day at a time. If you don’t believe in a higher power I encourage you to start searching. You can’t do this alone. You need a strength outside your own. For me that is Jesus, who chose to die willingly for the worst version of you and me. But he didn’t stay dead but instead he rose victoriously from the grave defeating sin and death. And you can have that same power that brought Jesus back from the grave living in you all you have to do is put your trust and faith in him. So I no longer rely on my own strength but on Jesus’ strength. Jesus doesn’t care about your baggage, how many times you’ve relapsed, he just wants you. And I guarantee if you really start living for him and spending time with him this battle will get easier and easier.
