I relapsed again

I have had 2 x 1 day streaks. I said to myself this morning that THIS IS IT. NO MORE. I’m on the cusp now, one of my triggers is having a release after a long day in the office and coming back to an empty house. Best of luck to you and hang in there!

Have to break the spell and when the slightest temptation comes reject it. You have to cut it off at the beginning before it grows out of control.

I did too. And it’s so annoying because after I finish I just think to myself why didn’t I just STOP like the hell is wrong with me

Some tips: Get an accountability partner/accountability group. Someone who can check in daily or at least multiple times a week and meet up in person weekly Get an accountability software. I don’t want to break the rules and promote another product but search for programs that can take screenshots of your devices and send it to your accountability partner. Get a good content blocker. I use one that I believe to be the most effective but again I don’t want to break the rules by promoting anything. If you have an iPhone, look for one that guides you through setting your iphone up into “supervision mode”, this will provide the most control over what you can block, but again you need an accountability partner to be able to control it so you can’t just reverse the settings you set it up on. These are physical and tangible things you can do, but it may cost some money. I also pray to God to give me strength. I know not everyone is a believer but I’m telling you, putting your faith in Christ, praying, reading/memorizing scripture gives you a whole new purpose
