Would God be proud of my progress. I’ve failed over and over again but now I’m lasting 1-3 days without masturbating I look at porn which is the reason I’ve just sinned. Any help with avoiding porn in itself? And would he even be proud of a failure like me.

Hi Matthew, God *is* proud of every effort you make to turn from sin, deny tthe flesh and pursue holiness. Every day you resist temptation, whether it’s one day or three, is a victory in Christ! The Bible reminds us in 1 John 1:9 that “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” God delights in forgiving us, not condemning us. (Micah 7:18-19) His love for you is unchanging, and He sees your progress, no matter how small it feels. Satan wants to trap youu in shame, whispering lies that you’re a failure or unworthy. But God’s Word says otherwise: Romans 8:1 says, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” God doesn’t want you to live in shame—He wants you free, forgiven, and filled with His grace. You’re not a failure—you’re a child of God, growing stronger with every step. Keep fighting, keep confessing, and keep trusting in His mercy. I’m praying for you, Matthew. ✝️
