Woke up with a hard on this morning. I heard that’s a good sign. NGL at the moment I really wanted to jerk off, but at the same time, I still feel sleepy. Today’s my rest day so I took advantage on sleeping more, that’s how I got over the temptation haha! When I decided to get up from bed, I prep up to go to the mall to run some errands. It was actually a tiring day, I sweat a lot from the commute and walking and it was also so hot outside. 😰 Went home and not even a tiny bit I thought about PMO. Time’s just so fast - I had to freshen up, unpack what I bought, tidy up, eat dinner, watch my favorite show, update my expense tracker, do skincare, and so on. But speaking of time being so fast, I felt so bad because I forgot today’s my niece’s birthday party celebration and I missed attending, I was invited bt my sister. I know she’ll understand but I can’t help but feel bad because we seldomly see each other anymore. Anyway, that’s all for my update today.

True bro, it’s because I’m so used resulting to jerking off when a hard on happens. But it shouldn’t be. Morning wood is normal. Getting a boner can also happen at other unexpected times. But how we respond to it is what will determine the type of person that we are. And this time, I chose to respond by acknowledging it was normal and completely ignore it.

Firstly waking up in the morning is right up there with my most vulnerable times for temptation to hit me, along with going to sleep at night. The only thing we can do at those times is just rely on pure discipline. Think about it, if you get up and sit in bed for a while before getting up, you’re much more likely to do something out of boredom / laziness for a quick dopamine rush before you start your day. I’ve started just getting up out of bed first thing, no snooze on the alarm, no 5 more minutes, just getting up and starting my day. Get to being productive before the temptation even has a chance to knock at the door, and by then, you won’t even hear it.

Do not view it as a temptation, it’s not, it’s a reaction of consent porn use that is actually a craving for dopamine, but in costume presented as a «horny feeling» see it for what it is, and when you get the craving next time don’t try to push it away, try to analyze it and note down in a book how you are feeling, and try to be clear minded next time you view porn, like ask yourself am i really enjoying this or am i living in the dopamine loop, is this actually fixing something or is this just a scam
