Dopamine withdrawal

How do you guys deal with dopamine withdrawals. It’s only been three days but I’ve been having heavy dopamine withdrawals and have been feeling really depressed and not wanting to even get out of bed. I do start to feel better after listening to music and taking a cold shower but that’s if I decide to get up.

There are many other ways to get dopamine rushes (more healthy ways than not). Exercise is a great one. Being creative. Doing something that makes you feel good about yourself—I get depressed and isolate, have a lot of pain and migraines, so exercise and being creative hurts…and I don’t take care of myself very well. So I just cleaned up and changed clothes, fixed my hair and beard and made myself look less scary for going out and about—that was a gas for me. Cleaning up/organizing something helps if you’re a slob or ADHD and it’s part of who you are.
