Desire

Is the answer to quitting porn fighting desire? Or changing it? I believe you can only truly quit if you change your desire. “Keep your eyes focused on what is right, and look straight ahead to what is good. Be careful what you do, and always do what is right. Don't turn off the road of goodness; keep away from evil paths.” Proverbs 4:25-27 It’s a war. A war for your soul. A war that you’re fighting to protect the people you influence and provide for. Because at the end of the day it’s more than just about you. If you don’t want to watch porn, don’t want that instant gratification; but can’t stop ask yourself what is it you truly desire? Do you desire self gratification… or being a father worth honoring, a husband worth being loyal to, a son worth bragging about, a man worth following?
