Dopamine Detox 4 the boost
Believe me. Two weeks of sacrifice for an incredible boost. Give up being in front of screens, no sex, no masturbation, no drugs, no over-processed food. Give up pleasure and you will return to pleasure in the little things, a child's laughter, a simple walk. But don't delude yourself that then the work is done there. When you return to everyday life you will have to find your balance. Always remember that chasing passions takes the peace out of your heart. You can decide, because once the reset occurs the dopamine baseline you will find pleasure. Personal post dopamine detox advice: create a weekly routine that does not abuse dopamine otherwise you will be back to square one. Basically in the evenings don't put all your time in front of Netflix. Or don't spend the afternoon on the couch scrolling social media. We are not meant to live in a square and be in front of a square all the time. Get out. p.s. I have been meditating every day for 3 years now and it has completely changed my life.
