✝️🤍✝️ Update.

Hey friends, First off, I’ve seen so many great posts today and I’ve wanted to cheer many of you on- but because of the new update I can’t comment at all!😭 I’m *really* hoping this gets fixed soon. Anyway, today was a battle resisting my very strong nature to dive right back into my sin- but truly, the Lord upheld me. A very big part of my addiction is feeling like “What I’ve done is so bad, God couldn’t/wont forgive me” and so I continue in my sin. But today I was intentional to focus on the promises of His forgiveness that we find in scripture. Like in Psalm 103- “So great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” And Isaiah 1- “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” Hebrews 8:12- “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” These verses bring me so much peace and strength to move forward after I’ve stumbled. I know several people here had a hard day yesterday, so I pray for each of you and that these verses would be an encouragement and reminder, that we serve a loving God who “delights” in forgiving us. (Micah 7:18-19) 🤍☺️ - - - - - - - - - - - - To my battle buddies Mikayla, Michael, Logan. I’ve prayed for each of you multiple times in the last 24 hours. That God would be near to you, lift you up, strengthen you where you need it. Thank you guys for being the embodiment of Christian community and support. (As much as we can be, as strangers on the internet😄). And to Robert: I read your post earlier (I can’t comment) and I certainly noticed your absence, but I want to say I’m so proud of you for not giving in, when so many of us were. Praise God you had the wisdom and self control to step away from the app, and fight every temptation. God will certainly bless you for your love for Him and your obedience. (Like we see in Psalm 119:1-2). Carry on friends.
