Relapsed yesterday and today after 20 days

Something I always have to remind myself is that a broken streak does not mean all progress is lost. Going 20 days is a great achievement, get back up and keep up the fight. You got this homie

I wanted to add something positive to this: there was probably a time you would have never admitted your relapse and found yourself back in the cycle. But you didn’t!! Our addiction is practiced in the dark; recovery is practiced in the light. There is no shame in relapse—we have the opportunity to learn from our mistakes, which you did by deleting the app that triggered you. 20 days is an awesome accomplishment, you got this!!!

Man, I’m so sorry, but it isn’t over for you! Just get right back up and try again. I can’t lie I’m right in the same boat man… I’m at my record of 32 days and I almost can’t take it any longer 😓😓. It’s completely taken over every thought I have and I’m starting to crack. Take care

I’ve learned Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit are NEVER safe to download if you are struggling/recovering. If you want to keep up with social media I’d recommend YouTube and Facebook- that’s just from personal experience though. You got this brother!
