Hey Tony! Interesting statement but not biblically accurate. Salvation is a one and done (Christ died for us so we are saved. We didn’t have to earn his salvation much like you are saying). Repentance is not a work that we do to get saved. Only the Holy Spirit can change our hearts in the first place to even turn to a state of repentance. Repentance is more about me asking God to forgive me for stepping out of covenant with him and asking God to change me. It’s not about trying to earn Gods forgiveness or salvation but about recognizing “Hey I did something wrong” and changing from it. God doesn’t have a limit to how much he will accept our apologies but he does want us to change. Praying for you and all the other brothers who are striving to glorify Christ in all we do! Let’s get the Kingdom Gents!

Brother please turn from this line of thinking. I’m no theologian but if you read the Bible, it’s all over that we need to ask and seek repentance and confess sin.

Just because Jesus died for our sins doesn’t mean we can keep intentionally sinning. If you keep intentionally sinning, like watching porn and masturbating and don’t repent, how are you going to be forgiven without apologizing. When you REPENT your asking God for forgiveness for your sins then you have to change your ways and not go back to it.
