Battle Buddies: Day 19

The work that God has started in you is not finished, brothers. When you first start on this road, that’s when the devil knows you are the most fragile and able to be pulled back into your temptation. It’s important to recognize this and gear up for battle. I can promise you it gets easier, your faith will grow, your confidence will hit some highs that you never thought imaginable, all thanks to our Lord and Christ Jesus. In just a week you will start to not recognize yourself during the war. You’ll feel life rejuvenate your bones, the Holy Spirit filling your heart and mind. The good that comes is not our own but Christ’s work within us. Be diligent in the Word, this is your sword to fend off the enemy. Put on your armor, Gods will and wisdom for your life, to block the arrows that are hurled your way. It’s time to put away the things of the past and be reborn in a new spirit, one that seeks to honor God with this life. To my fellow Battle Buddies and brothers in Christ: Look at how far God has brought you. He has given you the wisdom to know what your triggers are, He is teaching you how to have self control with a calculated battle plan. Each day you pick Him, each day you abide in Him, His strength abounds in you. He is preparing you for something greater, a higher calling. Something you can be proud in the faith of and say “It is not me, but Christ who resides in me”. You can already feel it now, can’t you? Keep surrendering everything to God and align yourselves with His will. I’m so glad to have you men by my side, it is truly a blessing from God. I love that I get to call you my brothers in Christ! It is such an honor to have you all in this journey!
