I love this man. People assume because I’m at a Bible college and am also a follower of Christ that I don’t have these struggles and have conquered my deepest sin. I struggle with this same aspect but one thing I love is that this is proof of the principality’s of the forces we can’t see. Satan wants to tear apart what God has brought together and sometimes your right, it’s as simple as our lustful desires. Know you not alone my guy, we gon conquer this in the NAME of Jesus! His grace is sufficient enough. If we focus on the concept of responding to his grace instead of the constant concept of “trying” to stop this habit, it will be much easier for us both. Our sin was already paid for and we aren’t made right with God through religion (following Laws)—why would we need Jesus if it were so! Your forgiven just as I am and we need to just walk in his grace and change our mind and our hearts (repentance) through the power and authority given to us over the enemy THROUGH JESUS💯❤️.

I relate, brother. You’re on the right track and I’m encouraged by your post and healthy guilt. Just remember, Shame is from the devil and you are a human! It’s OK to think your girlfriend is beautiful - that is the way God made her! and if you catch yourself with a lustful thought, just breathe, give it to the Lord and try to think of your girlfriend has a child of God. I’m in the same boat my brother porn retires our mind to literally look at other women in adulterous ways so i don’t want you to start thinking that it’s because YOURE disgusting it is because this is WHY porn is disgusting you are made in Gods likeness not the likeness of this world that automatically makes you much much more than disgusting Also other reccomendations is don’t stay quiet about it tell many people so you can have many prayer partners and so you don’t walk with the Shame of it and also get rid of all social media because maybe you’re not looking at porn necessarily but you can still be seeing things that are pornagraphic to you you need to get rid of all access to it and I know my streak says 12 days but that’s because I’m being really strict about what my definition of “porn” is and for me it’s anything that gives me the same feeling porn would Porn is also unfaithful and it is cheating and it’s also unfortunately super common so you’re definitely not alone roughly 1/5 pastors in America will struggle with it so you’re not alone You’ve got this Nathan!
