I fail after 18 days

I didn’t watch po** and I’m not really interested, but I’ve just been thinking — and it feels tough. I have all this energy I want to release from my body. Even when I try to escape the thoughts and avoid feeling bad, it still gets to me. The question is: what should I do during these days? I quit social media, I’m trying to focus on studying, going to the gym, writing everything down on paper — but I still don’t know what to do with all this energy and constant overthinking.

Don’t get me wrong everything you’ve said you’re doing (study, gym, journaling) is great, but they’re also work. Can mentally and physically be straining. What’s something that can pique your interest/curiosity where it seems like you can do this thing for hours on end without rest??? Good luck on finding that thing! For me it was playing pokemon/collecting cards and video editing.

Add a hobby to your list of activities! Focus on something genuinely fun (to you) and build natural and healthier dopamine experiences. Of course something might not come up overnight, so that’s why you’ll have to explore different things.

Sometimes you just gotta sit with it. Feel it, breathe it in, and acknowledge your emotions and don’t tell yourself you’re a bad person, you have to show yourself love. Sit in silence if you have to. I’m telling you this because this is what I have been doing on my days off. Besides going to the gym and walking around and journaling too lol

Here’s my stance: occasional masturbation is perfectly fine, natural, and your body actually required it. However, watching pornography is not acceptable, as long as you don’t watch pornography or any nudity or sexually suggestive content. If your masturbation falls within a normal range, you should be okay.
