Porn is the problem. Not masturbation. The past week or so I’ve masturbated every day without porn and it’s helped with stress and I’ve felt little to no guilt from it because it is healthy to release. My creativity and problem solving has gotten better because I am no longer in the consumer mindset. Still got sex drive so that’s not a problem. Just always was looking at this the wrong way, porn was really the problem that was ruining my life and making me depressed.
I stand by this. You can still pleasure yourself just don’t do it with porn. We ALL have a sex drive and associating quoting porn with quitting masterbating, in my opinion, will cause you to relapse. If not masterbating is the goal then take it slow by quitting porn first. But if quitting porn is the goal, then stop watching but keep wacking. Eventually overtime you masterbate less and less as your brain resets. At least it has with me, everyone’s different. Just find what works for you and stop watching porn.
