18 fucking days then I blew it

Let’s say it take you 4 months to build muscle. You go to the gym 5 days a week every week. Something happens and you end up skipping out on the gym for 1 week at the 3 month mark. The muscles you developed don’t just disappear. You pick back up where you left off. 1 relapse in 18 days is still great progress.

Make that be a one time occasion! Bounce back even harder. Now is the most importantly time to buckle down. You aren’t back to Level One! You need to realize that those 18 days put you so much further ahead on the challenge than you think. Not a single relapse more brotha! But don’t be hard on yourself. Forget about it and move on to focus on the goal

You brain chemistry has improved greatly in that 18 days, scientifically speaking, and I’m sure life is already looking up and getting better for you. You have basically defeated porn, it’s just that we are imperfect. Now you can either beat yourself up mentally over being human, or learn from it and treat porn like an abusive ex and show it to the door. The choice is yours. You have a lot more control over your life than you think. Praying for you brother. 🙏
