Guilt is defined by an uncharacteristic choice we make. For this reason, I think lust is ingrained into me so deep that it’s second nature. In other words, I need to start making choices to kill my lust. I need to become a monster. I have shown mercy to my enemy for so long that I have neglected to give it to myself. If I must choose which dies and who lives, I must treat my lust like it has treated me for over a decade. One word: ruthlessness. Ruthlessness is mercy upon myself. If ruthlessness is mercy, then I need to make choices that makes me a better man for tomorrow.
