Become a Man

I will note that this post is primarily geared towards men on this platform. But to anyone else, I would try to apply this to yourself as well. We who fight this fight must be encouraged to be men. I do not say this to condemn any of you. But one of the ideals that has been encouraging me recently is the belief that I am simply no longer a porn addict because men are not porn addicts By adopting this mentality I have come to the conclusion that I am no longer my past self. It is not an easy task to adopt this mindset, however, it is vital that we all push for this. Because the longer we fear this enemy and its attacks, the stronger it will keep its hold over us. So use this as motivation: Become a man. A real man. Who respects all people, and does not objectify them. Modern society has normalized the objectification of people through porn, which has caused an increasing number of young boys to be exposed to it. Once again to not condemn anyone, but if you are on this app you must realize that to be a real man you must tell yourself that you do not watch this shit. At all. Condemn all jokes and any mention of it. Because to most people, the highest respect for a man is one who does not objectify anyone, especially now that it is so common. So tell yourself every day that you do not watch porn; you do not masturbate, etc. and leave it at that. I hope this helps. It’s been on my mind, and I felt like sharing. Obviously this is only one piece of the puzzle, but to me it is the most significant piece. Because you cannot overcome porn if you still believe you’re bound to it God Bless you all
