the temptation to just relapse is driving me crazy. my hands itch and my mind feels scrambled. energy feels low but it’s my body wanting me to give up and give in to temptation. im staying and trying my hardest to not give in. this has been consuming me for years and need to end it now!!! i’ve done lots of hard things in life but no where near as hard as quitting this life altering addiction.

It is easier to replace a habit rather than to quit it cold. Find something productive to do that occupies both your mind and body. The brain can really focus fully one one thing at a time. Praying for you man. You got this. 💪
Put the phone down, leave the house and go for a walk. And on that walk talk to God, out loud, and just talk to him. Let him know how you’re feeling. And that you want to stop. Have a conversation with him honestly, just vent to him, and I promise you by time you go back in the house you will feel like a weight has been lifted. And there temptation will be gone, until the next test. You can win! Trust in Him!
