For those who are weak (Christian post)
Good morning everyone, and thank you for taking the time to read this post. As a young man, the idea of being weak is a scary one, but still a reality. No matter who you are, or how strong you perceive yourself to be, we as humans still have limits, but that is okay! Something my father said before that comes to mind today is “The strongest of men are those who know when they are beat.” Because it takes a whole lot of courage to admit you are broken. It takes far more strength than you know to reflect on the things that get the better of us. So I urge you to not be prideful, as I have so many times before, seek God and Christ to be your strength. This enemy we face is not simply of the body, but the mind as well, so take heart and place God first in everything you do. The more you rely on your own strength, the more it is turned against you. Exodus 15:2-4 “The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name. Pharaoh’s chariots and his army he has hurled into the sea. The best of Pharaoh’s officers are drowned in the Red sea.” As always, I pray that we may find our strength in Christ, who alone saves and gives us courage to stand against the things we alone have no hope to overcome. And does not let pride cloud his wisdom in decreeing what is good.
