I’m honestly a bit confused on how to use this app. I mean I get it tracks me and my progress but what would be considered a relapse? Is it when I watch or masturbate to porn or is it just masturbation in general? Ik I can make it whatever I want it to be but I prefer to have more guidance. My main goal is to cut back on masturbation if not stop entirely but it feels impossible at the start and ik I won’t be able to focus if I just go cold turkey. But the idea of hitting the big red panic button saying I relapsed feels so defeating even if there’s longer periods of time between the relapses like I’m weening off it. So I’d appreciate input on how I should treat this if anyone’s willing to share their thoughts.

This app is supposed to diverge your attention away from masturbation. When you’re in a moment that you think you’re gonna relapse, or you think you’re gonna view pornography you come to this app as a way to take the pressure off of yourself and to use the app as a support tool to combat your urges. It’s defeating to press the relapse button because you know you failed yourself. if you can’t respect your decisions how do you expect others to people to respect them? I’ve struggled for years, not to an extreme like other people but any porn use in my life rn is nothing but a burden. Remember to stay strong and whenever you’re bored or wanting instant gratification be productive, get back on the app, see what the community has posted and educate yourself instead of masturbate.

I personally started the app like a few minutes ago and I believe it’s to help you identify what makes you turn to porn or masturbate. For instance I hit the panic button cause ngl I wanted to do something but It made me actually sit there and think “Do I truly want to end the race I just started?” And I didn’t want to disappoint myself. Somewhere inside of you it tells you that you’re capable of stopping but it’s easier said than done. I would sit back and take time to reflect on what I crave and think on how my younger self would feel about me being dependent on it or how I view myself being dependent on it.
