Accountability Challenge
Hey everyone, I’ve noticed a lot of people sharing that they’ve had setbacks, so I wanted to introduce a simple challenge that’s really helped me—and I believe it can help you too if you stick with it. First off, I want to say that reading motivational posts and commenting on others’ journeys has genuinely helped me stay more positive about my own progress. That sense of community support makes a big difference. Now for the challenge: every time you feel the urge to relapse, do 5 pushups. If pushups aren’t doable for you, substitute with something else—like sit-ups, squats, or even a quick 5-minute run. The goal is to do something physically engaging and a bit intense for just a few minutes. And if you do relapse, commit to doing 30 reps of your chosen exercise—whether that’s pushups, sit-ups, squats, whatever works for you. This method doesn’t just help you delay the urge in the moment—it starts to rewire your brain. Over time, you’ll notice your mindset shifting: instead of turning to masturbation as a reflex, you’ll start taking action—even if it’s something small. It builds discipline, confidence, and a sense of control. Give it a try. It’s worked for me, and it might work for you too.
I’m going to give this a go, thanks!
