So when you start your journey you'll definitely will think "Oh man its so hard to quit". And yes, it is but you can make your journey much easier with following points. • Mobiles are poison Yes, our parents were right when they said "Its because your phone". Your phone is poison and you need to stay away as much as possible. Delete all social media apps, make a time limit for all other apps and use it only with a purpose (texting, phone calls, reading news, weather app etc). If you follow this advise you will see how you won't have as much triggers as before. • Spent your time correct Get a hobby, you must be busy! Reading, sports, drawing, it can be everything. But don't get bored because when you're bored your mind want to do something to get satisfied. So don't get bored and do something! • Create your own routine I will now explain my own routine that helped me a lot in the beginning. So in the morning I wake up, make me breakfast and dress me. Then I go to the bathroom and make me fresh for the day. After that I grab my Bible and read a little bit before I start playing with my cat. If she's tired its time for me to go to work. When I come home I go make some sports like football or work out or I immediately go under the shower because jerking off makes me feel dirty and after I showered I don't want to get dirty. In the evening I start with dinner, grab afterwards again my Bible and start praying (before I found God I just meditated "normal"). I play again with my cat and go sleeping. A routine can help you not to come up with stupid thoughts. • Journal your relapses What did you do before that? What were your thoughts before and what do you think now? How do you feel now? Write everything down and fight the triggers. • Content Blocker I'm using IOS, for Android I can't say if there is this function. Settings -> Screen time -> Restrictions -> App Store, Media, Web, and Games -> Web content -> Suitable for minors (translated, if Apple calls it different then I'm sorry) Also if you have an PC, do it in Chrome, Edge etc (what you use) These points helped me to be free for 1 month now and I don't think I'll relapse in the next weeks because I have nearly no triggers and therefore no urges.
