Meditate. (Cliche, I know)
Take 5 minutes at whatever time of day works best for you. Sit in a quiet area, as quiet as possible. You could lay down too but try not to fall asleep. Close your eyes, body relaxed, jaw open and relaxed. Tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth (where your gums and teeth meet). Bed of your tongue lying down. Take a deep breath in. Your stomach should swell like a balloon. Feel the coolness of breath pass through your nasal passage at the back of your throat. Exhale, all the way, all while being mindful of each breath you take. Thoughts will arise (Good & Bad). Let them pass and focus on your breathing. The point of this is to practice mindfulness. Every habit, temptation, jitter, and emotion originates in the mind. If you can control your mind and focus on one thing long enough, it’ll eventually become second nature and you’ll soon be able to control your impulses with mindfulness and not fall into lustful temptations. This is universal, meaning it can apply to other aspects of life, granted you practice consistently. If you’ve read this far don’t thank me. Just do it and watch what happens.
