At this stage of recovery, anything that triggers a sexual response—yes, even regular reels—can act like pornography for your brain. As you gain distance from porn use, your baseline will shift and that bar will naturally adjust.

Instagram reels and TikTok videos are a huge trigger for me. I actually got rid of TikTok after Thanksgiving last year and have not downloaded it back since. However, Instagram reels was still a struggle with me for a long time. And I’m still tempted to look at them all the time.
