It’s day 2 and Rn I’m feeling the urge. But ever since I got the app. It’s making me not want to act. So therefore , I will clean my room , wash my face , brush my teeth , stay off my phone cuz it’s literally a demon. And we gone workout and get some chores done. As I’m typing this , urge lowkey starting to fade.

Good stuff Ty. A video on neuroscience I watched this week explained that placing more time between when you receive an impulse doing the bad behavior, makes it possible for your brain to create new neuro pathways over the longer-term. Meaning, every single time that we are able to not give in to an impulse, and that can be an impulse to text someone, or go in Instagram while working, we’re making it easier for ourselves to repeat that behavior. Good stuff, keep going, and thanks for sharing!

That’s exactly what you have to do when you get an urge. Keep distracting yourself and eventually the urges will fade instantly.
