Hey guys , going pretty strong so far. I’m just rly fighting temptation right now. Parents are out for the next few days… no one to see what I do. I can feel Satan tempting me. Literally a couple steps away from falling. I have a few hours before I’m free to do whatever as I’m caught up in homework. Hoping to walk away from the edge until then. Going to pray, gonna go to the gym. whatever u guys say here will help me. Any encouraging scripture?

Invite others into your journey who know you.
You're alone? Stop being alone! Go for a walk, get outside, talk to someone on the phone. That's the way to overcome temptation. Like Jesus said, we must literally FLEE from temptation. Good luck

When we willfully sin, we're essentially rejecting God's offer of forgiveness and redemption. We're saying, "I know what you want for me, God, but I'm going to do my own thing anyway." Ephesians 4:30 7 "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." When we willfully sin, we're not only rejecting God's forgiveness, but we're also grieving the Holy Spirit and quenching His work in our lives.

Paul said he disciplines his body so that he doesn’t preach to others and he himself be disqualified after. Sin is a flesh issue, not necessarily a Satan issue. Satan is a temper, yes but sexually immorality’s part of the nature of the body. We too can, like Paul DISCIPLINE OURSELVES ! So grow in the Word of God -Jesus Christ - and be transformed by the renewal of your mind (Romans 12:1). As you continually read your bible, your mind is regenerated and cleaned out. In Psalms it says that a young man can keep his way pure by heeding to the Word of God. PICK UP YOUR BIBLE AND READ IT!
