I’m in the military and need help
I need help, I have the internet blocked on my phone so I can’t watch porn. I need yall to tell me how to get quarters in ait. They put us in red phase so for 12 hours out the day we are picking up sticks walking in circles and being marched everywhere. I’m currently hiding in the bathroom wondering how to get put on quarters in sick call so I can stay in my room! LOOK IT UP PLEASE ! It’s been 2 days of walking in a circle I CANT HANDLE A THIRD 😭😂!
Dude, you should need every minute of your AIT. They should have that time jam packed teaching and training you to be prepared to do your job on your MOS/NEC/whatever for whatever branch you’re in. Once you get out of AIT, you’ll get shipped off to a command to go do the work…if you miss too much of the training, you’ll get pulled from this AIT and have to get thrown into another MOS/rate, or maybe even get looked at for discharge. Do here is where QUITTR can really help!! USE MELIUS! It’s built in the landing page, scroll down from the weird circle above “You’ve been porn free for XX Days” to four bars, the top one says “Talk to Melius”. Just type in everything like you were talking to your best friend. And read what the AI therapist responds. It only responds to your last comment, so if you’re building on a previous comment, you have to include some of the previous comment or Melius gets confused and won’t say anything. You can talk about anything. Whatever you say disappears when you leave that section of the app. That might help you build the inner strength to be able to withstand another day of “Aauuugh!” Remember that part of the military is long stretches of boredom interrupted by shocking seconds of terror in which you have to be able to do your job with deadly precision from muscle memory. These days of walking in circles may well be a planned part of the training because days of boredom are a significant part of the job. Part of being new in the military is learning to trust the old timers because g they do know what they are doing…they have survived some serious shit to live to be in the position to train you.
