Top 4 Tips
After going clean for 33 days I took a glimpse today, not sure if it’s a relapse or not but overcame it and got on with my day. It happened after I kept my phone in the room when sleeping, so here my top 4 tips: 1) Charge your phone outside your bedroom 2) Sleep at 11PM maximum, after 11 thoughts gets activated 3) Limit your social media, I use apps like Opal 3.1) Unfollow all pages that shares anything tiny close to anything sexual, enable all explicit content filters, any post that is sexual, hold on it and select as “not interested” 4) I’m Muslim so I’m always getting myself closer to god by listening to Quran and saying prayers, you’ll start feeling that he is close that god’s disappointment on you hits harder.
Opal is just like screen timeout in iPhone but more extreme, there are multiple types of app lockdown where there is no chance to access social media until the time is finished . And it makes it harder to keep on scrolling because it keeps locking the social media apps
