Get an accountability partner

One of the most effective things that I have done to help me in this journey of quitting is getting an accountability partner. If you can even get a group of guys to hold each other accountable, that’s even better. I know it’s not easy and it can be awkward at first, but having someone check in on you frequently and holding you accountable is another layer of protection that you can surround yourself with. This is not a battle that is easy to fight alone, and if you are serious about quitting, this is an extremely beneficial step you can take. Keep this addiction in the shadows and it will be much easier to relapse over and over, but put it in the spotlight and it will be much easier to abstain. It won’t be perfect, this is still war, but an effective warrior uses all the tools in their arsenal to win. Fight the good fight
