Hi everyone. I am determined to quit watching porn due to it causing a relationship I had to fall apart. However, my question is, if I masturbate, without the use of porn, is this a relapse? My intention is not to quit masturbation, but porn itself.

I would consider that playing with fire, and while if your goal is solely to quit porn, technically it may not be, but the technicalities quite frankly do not matter, in your own journey, if you genuinely believe, when being completely honest and thorough with yourself, that it isn’t a relapse, then who is anyone else to tell you otherwise? That is dangerous in my opinion, “you hang around the barber shop long enough you’ll get a haircut”
